The Sunday Whirl #589- I See Your Outrage, Here’s Mine.

I See Your Outrage, Here’s Mine

Watch me all you want!”

Jamuh shouted at his neighbors as they each stood staring at him from behind glass. Someone had already reported him twice!

The 4th Covid lockdown had turned almost all usually rational, friendly, people into danger averse cowards. Jamuh was having none of this nonsense. All he could do was challenge the gathering mentality of “sheep” and disrupt their mass insanity.

“I suppose me walking alone outdoors upsets your silly sense of safety! Do you see a murder being committed or a victim you hope will die?!”

Jamuh had been suddenly cut off from traveling, dining out, and going to work only because his instincts had told him that the “shot” was going to be ineffective and possibly dangerous. Hadn’t anyone learned from the past?

“YOU KNOW WHAT’S DANGEROUS?! FOOLS WHO THINK THEY CAN TELL OTHERS WHAT TO DO!”

As he stomped round the corner, his flesh crawled. He thought no one could craft a better tactic for implementing government totalitarianism than this virus even if he worked directly for the CCP.

He’d never told anyone else what to do yet he was supposed to be some kind of criminal?

“One day they’ll find out how they’ve been used as enforcers for the state…as guinea pigs… and as agents of their own destruction.”

As he made the circle toward home, Jamuh had calmed. He knew no one would hunt him down and apologize for all of this. He’d never ask them to either, as long as they all learned to mind their own business.

{FYI-The name Jamuh means “defiant”.}

E.M.’s RWP~#293 quantitative- Overwhelm to Conquer

As hard as it is, for some, to imagine, human beings have several limitations on their ability to perceive their environment.
We have all known the phenomenon of our ‘eyes playing tricks’ on us. Deer hunters experience this constantly. They are searching for deer. Their brain is solving every visual image attempting to configure a deer or just a portion of one. Branches, at a glance, are antlers. Any bright or white flash of light is a flagging tail. And when their ears are tuned in, scurrying chipmunks in leaves are instantly recognized footsteps of one-hundred-pound deer. Hunters soon learn how unreliable first impressions can be from their senses jumping to comically foolish conclusions more often than accurate ones. Yet, the single focus of a hunter on that one single pursuit can eventually, with further investigation, produce success in what he’s seeking. Imagine if he were texting, jotting notes, and rehashing the argument with his wife the night before, as he’s hunting. His chances of doing any of those things well, are greatly reduced. This my friends shows how easily we can be overwhelmed. Human beings are excellent problem solvers if given the time and allowed to focus on one task at a time. I don’t make the rules but ignoring that those are the ‘rules’ our brains follow is ignorant and naive.
The central tenant in Rules for Radicals- a guidebook for forcing change in culture, society, and countries-is to overwhelm the system targeted for radical change. This quantitative assault is done by creating too many ‘troubles’ for people to solve, or even pay attention to, thus inspiring them to pack up their proverbial ‘hunting gear’ and ‘go home’. It’s an effective dehumanization tool which can disarm very large populations.
Now consider all of the ‘crisis’ themes we are currently being subjected to… Border Crisis, Energy Crisis, Climate Crisis, Pandemic Crisis, Homeless Crisis, Inflation Crisis, Racism Crisis, Crime Crisis, etc… this large quantity of proposed unsolvable troubles is not accidental.
How many of you know several people who claim they just stopped watching and caring about the ‘News’ for their own sanity? I can’t blame them on one level but their numbness and disconnect is a tool being used against all of us and our futures. Powerful totalitarian forces are undermining the traditional foundations of our country as so many have been lulled to ‘sleep’.
My advice to everyone is to ‘wake up’ and focus on the one thing that makes everything else we do possible … the preservation of our beloved country.

SoCS 9-17-22 Ring- Warning

What came to mind immediately was the idiom “ring true”. I looked up its origin:

Ring false and the antonym, ring true, which means “seem genuine,” allude to the old practice of judging a coin genuine or fake by the sound it gives out when tapped. This practice became obsolete when coins ceased to be made of precious metals, but by then the idioms were being used to refer to other matters. [Mid-1800s]

The phrase ‘ring true’ takes on a lot of weight these days. Our media has worked overtime sensationalizing everything and simultaneously has avoided doing much factual investigation.
I don’t know about you, but I feel as though I’m in a never-ending game of “Gossip”.

To anyone who is unfamiliar with the game of Gossip, it starts with a phrase whispered into a person’s ear then that person hastily whispers it to the next and so on around a ring of several people. By the time it reaches person #1 again, the phrase’s words and meaning are completely different. It’s comical as a game but tragically lacking as a source of reliable information.

Our media is a ‘for profit’ group of businesses that rely on getting the public’s attention. So, using flashy, salacious, material, and misleading headlines, works well for them, especially in our fast-paced (short attention span) American society.
Clever a-moral people have discovered this lovely way to spread ideological propaganda AND make money. Worse than that, social media companies are “in” on it too by manipulating search engines and censoring sites who might ruin their hypnotic promotion of a single ideological message. I fear that a large number of people are becoming unwitting tools of a totalitarian movement. I also fear that our Constitutional Republic is in grave danger. Freedom of Speech and ‘thought diversity’ are the most essential elements of a free society. We’re losing them both at an alarming rate.
Those who question mass media information as not “ringing true” are being cancelled, arrested, and destroyed (many are now labeled domestic terrorists!) while a comfortably numb public doesn’t even notice… most don’t care to know. Seeking comfort, a group belonging, and a sense of virtuous superiority, has replaced the need to be ethical, reasonable, and truth seeking.
I know this sounds like a finger wagging rant and I suppose it is. Telling-it-like-it-is and pursuing Truth aren’t things I will watch die off without speaking my own mind.

Have a nice Saturday and please keep your ears, eyes, and minds open. Our country’s future needs your support. ❤
