Quadrille Monday #174-Weather Revolution

Here’s how to Quadrille:

– Write a poem of exactly 44 words, including the word revolution.
– Put your poem on your blog and link back to this post.

Sunshine higher in the sky
Brings a wake-up lullaby.
Peepers chirp melodic voices.
Robins sounding out rejoices.
Thawed out soil soon dampened sweet.
As stubborn winter drags its feet.

Taunting the impatient
with relentless brutal winds.
Same weather revolution
Every time the Spring begins.

I love a well told story. If it makes me laugh, all the better.

  1. After reading about Björn’s bloodthirsty revolution and Ron’s humans that aren’t real, your gentle wake-up lullaby quadrille is a balm, Susan. I love the ‘robins sounding out rejoices’ especially.

Tell me something good...
