Sunshine higher in the sky
Brings a wake-up lullaby.
Peepers chirp melodic voices.
Robins sounding out rejoices.
Thawed out soil soon dampened sweet.
As stubborn winter drags its feet.
Taunting the impatient
with relentless brutal winds.
Same weather revolution
Every time the Spring begins.
44-words
After reading about Björn’s bloodthirsty revolution and Ron’s humans that aren’t real, your gentle wake-up lullaby quadrille is a balm, Susan. I love the ‘robins sounding out rejoices’ especially.
Thank you most kindly! A tonic of Nature usually does the trick. 😉
That’s exactly what I was thinking, Kim ❤
