Quadrille #157- What’s your type?- Purloined Perfection

Whatever type of poem you choose, make it exactly 44 words, and slip some form of the word type in there.

Elmer found a lady,
Above all trendy hype.
SO Purty!
…just his type

She never took to gossip
Cooked his favorite, tripe.
Loved a-huntin’
…just his type

Wouldn’t say he loved her.
Man, he always griped!
She vanished all a-sudden.
Figured she got swiped.

      Sorry… I couldn’t reconcile who took her in only 44 words. 🤣

I loved the voice in this poem. I read it aloud in my mind, complete with accent and everything. Hilarious stuff! I enjoyed it.

Susan, is that pic of Red Green? If it isn’t it looks a lot like him. It’s like you can read his thoughts lol. Cleverly written with a liberal dose of humor.

Thanks. No, it’s not good ole Red. Just a poor hillbilly I grabbed off of the internet. Probably a nicer guy than Elmer too! 🤣

Did she get swiped left? Or swiped right? 😉
