I spied a wee mouse. It made me squeal.
He rose on two and gave up this spiel:

“How can YOU claim a galled fright?
Not ONE crumb have I found tonight.
Shiver not, you greedy disgrace.
I’ll bid farewell and blow this place!”

44 words

  1. Ha! Wonderfully funny, one to read aloud….poetry for avid young listeners is vital…by avid young I mean me also of course…

    1. Dear David,
I was just pondering the idea that there could be something in a name. During my 46 years providing childcare, I only knew a few Davids. But each, curiously, was a rebellious little scamp. They tried the patience of those who couldn’t appreciate their energy. My overview is far from scientific. LOL But it’s a delightful curiosity to me. I sense you may have had a similar impact on the world. 🙂
      ❤ Susan ❤
