Today’s prompt— Write a poem using “lemonade days”
A radiant sun appeals to many,
As for me, I don’t like any!
Oppressive heat; on longer days,
Sapping strength as patience frays.
Kids rejoice this season’s place.
Extremes are children’s natural pace.
“Lemonade days”, once, a sip so sweet,
Have ‘soured’ me on summer heat.

A nice warm poem! I love a little of that heat just now too! Well done, Susan.
Thanks for your encouraging comments, my friend. 😉
You’re so welcome.
Great take, Susan!
Good one, Susan, and I loved the cartoon!
Thank-you. I’m not usually a complainer by nature but sweltering heat is my kryptonite. 🤣
