I’ve always known you.
Impossible for you to leave me,
But you’ve changed through the years!
My father, has known you longer.
And his parents found you.
None of us pioneers.

No… but, my paternal grandmother was an immigrant so that guess might fit. On my mother’s side, my heritage goes back to the American Revolution. 😊
