FOWC- What A Bargain

Today’s word is “article”.

The envelope was official looking. It had “OPEN IMMEDIATELY” stamped on the front.
Inside was a photo of a TOP physician, an embossed card with his credentials, and an article about buying a ‘proven’ product currently on sale for a select few ‘special’ customers.
Henry raced to get his credit card and placed a phone-in order for two offers that had an additional discount for a speedy purchase.
Finally, he’d find relief for his chronic fatigue and depression in a revolutionary TV adapter. How did they know he was the perfect customer?
It would be EFFECTIVE… It was GUARANTEED… It was APPROVED, and he was one of the few chosen to get it early!
Five weeks went by until Henry, finally, received the package. It had been an unusually terrible week. He wasted no time hooking it up.
Immediately, every channel played sitcoms from the 50s and 60s, and tons of retro (PG rated) movies, while all news channels were blocked… blank… gone.
Within’ days he was his jolly, alert, and energetic self again.
