Kids Book Review

I started remembering special books that my own kids enjoyed and decided to share them. Alfie Gets in First was a big favorite that I had forgotten. The beautiful illustrations accentuate a short story about a little boy who accidentally locks himself inside of his house. His Mom offers encouragement through the door as he solves this BIG problem.

I will be ordering this to share with my granddaughter. I highly recommend it to you!

Good idea to present book reviews for grandmas and other gift ivers. How about the list you as a child liked: I remember Stone Soup,Mike Mulligan and his Steam Shovel,The Little engine that Could and I’m realizing that , for today’s kids -many have not seen a train,or a steamshovel. Shel Silverstein and Dr. Seuss were big favorites.
I think Beatrix Potter to me was beloved because of her illustrations.
Charlotte’s Web and Suart Little come to mind too!

Yes, I remember Copper-toed Boots and The Matchlock Gun too! Thanks!

Alfie gets in first is a lovely book, I especially like the way you can see the two sets of action (outside and inside)

Tell me something good...
