It ain’t weird if you like it…
American Bison (Bison bison) in the Grand Tetons
I had Bison burger for the first time last night. It was amazingly delicious!
You must know that I am a beef fanatic.
The Bison is raised with no antibiotics and is as tender and tasty as any hamburger I have ever had.
Can’t wait to make Bison goulash and Bison meatballs.
Tonight…
We are having wild caught squid.
And people think that cattle are naturally high in cholesterol. It’s only the corn (grain) fed ones that are so bad for us to eat. There are two places in Wisconsin that raise only pasture fed Bison and cattle that are not even slaughtered while they have to eat stored grasses, and/or hay. They only slaughter their animals while they are still grazing on natural pasturage. That is why most of not all the meat we eat is so bad for us to eat. From chickens, pork, as well as beef sold in markets are all “finished” on mostly corn products, which messes up their natural pH, and is full of empty calories.
If you google, range fed meat, or words to that effect, the ones in Wisconsin should pop up.
Thank-you for the info!
