My favorite setting on my digital camera is the macro. These are super close-up shots. The setting is always symbolized by a little tulip. Most people never use all their settings and don’t read the directions for their cameras. I am with you on that.
Do find that macro setting though. You can hold your camera just inches from the subject and get awesome sights of the tiny side of things.
Many cameras have that little tulip right on their dial. Once you set that up, hold your camera as steady as possible a few inches away from a tiny subject. My favorite subjects are insects. Half depress the shutter button and there is usually an auto focus that brings the subject into focus. Mine has a little square that turns green when it is focused.
A little practice will give you some memorable shots.
These are breath taking!
